When doing things with my hands I have had involuntary jerking of my whole hands on a daily basis so I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Members strongly affirmed that involuntary hand jerking and tremors are common experiences with fibromyalgia, with many describing similar movements that disrupt daily tasks like dialing phones, writing, or coloring. Several members shared that their tremors occur throughout the body, including arms and legs, and often worsen in the evenings or during periods of fatigue, stress, or increased pain, with some finding relief through muscle relaxants or magnesium. A recurring theme was the frustration of losing fine motor control and the comfort of knowing others share the same struggle, with many members having been formally diagnosed with conditions like Essential Tremors by their doctors.

I was wondering the same thing! I'll be using my hands and both hands make involuntary movements. The jerking is pretty significant..my hands move a couple inches. For me tho, it usually happens in the evenings. Another thing to chalk up to fibro.

I have them too. Not even doing anything. I'll be coloring or something and all of a sudden my hand will jerk and mess up my coloring. That's just an example. They also shake when putting them in certain angles or positions. My legs jerk too all of a sudden.

I have the jerking, and not because I am working with them. I can be dialing the phone and hit the wrong number because of the jerk. I hate you all have the jerks and tremors but glad to know I am not the only one.
