I would definitely say yes a diet can help fibromialga
I watched a documentry once about fibro and the dr said that we should avoid seven things as they affect our central nervous systems. They are: sugar, aspertame, alcohol, gluten, dairy, msg, and caffeine. I tried that and it helped a lot although I love my chocolates and a glass of wine at the end of the day helps to sooth the pain. And a cup of coffee in the morning gets me going. As for the other four, I dont even think about touching those as they meen trouble.
The Walking helps 100%... When its summer time I walk almost everyday until I got up to about 30 minutes... When I can do this it gives me energy for the rest of the day but now that it's cold and snowy outside I just sit in my recliner thinking about moving to Mexico so I can swim in the ocean every morning with no winters
I definetly feel better the cleaner my diet. I have been avoiding gluten, dairy, salty, perservatives and potatoes. Try an inflamation diet.
I shall join you @A MyFibroTeam Member, I went and brought the goodies to get me started today - lets cheer each other on xx
