Is There A Connection With Fibromyalgia And Passing Out And Having Fits?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi all I wanted to ask if anyone knows if there is any connection between fibromyalgia and fits and passing out. It's happened to me a few times now I've passed out and fit. I've been taken to hospital on every occasion and all tests cone back clear but as it's happened more than once they are now referring me to a neurologist I have an app on 9th March. Theres prob no connection but I thought I'd ask see if anyone else had experienced the same. Thanks in advance for ur support xx

It is unfortunately a uncommon but very real symptom of fibro there is no brain damage or chance of not coming out of a sudo seizure i spent 4 days in the Kirkland clinic with electro glued to my head watched everyday sleep depraved lights flashed in my face until i was so frustrated the stress and agitation brought on the episode. I have googled the possibility of the 2 ( seizures and fibro) any a few sights include seizures fits or uncontrollable movement a jerking of the body. I also strarted understanding when signs of an episode in time to learn to talk my self down try to get in control.modtly now if i hsve one and it is not often anymore it is while i sleep i come to with my husband restraining my so i dont hurt my self with no memory of it st all only excruciating pain and i cry si hard i believe it was probably a nightmare to blame i have some real dewsies

It happened to me over the weekend. I felt dizzy and not well. Next thing I know I was laying in the recovery position. Apparently it looked as if I had a light Epileptic attack/ fit. All the tests done at the emergency room came back negative. Thank you, Cassie Watkins, for advising it is stress related.

I have fibro and i pass out and have seizures that they cant diognose yet. Im off to neurologist again. I have nerve damage to the right radial nerve. Wat other diseases or condiþions do u have would be good to stay in touch with u to compare results. If u want to no pressure.
