South Africans Please, Can You Answer!!
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

If you do not have a Medical Aid which Fibro GP or Pain Clinic do you visit. Due to short-term financial problems I am no longer on a medical aid and the price (cash) for doctors visits and the meds is exorbitant. Any help out there?? PS - Before I was officially diagnosed with Fibro I tried all the over the counter meds including some 'natural' remedies.

Unfortunately it's difficult without medical aid, I am paying cash for my meds and Lyrica is like over R500 for a months supply. Hoping someone in SA can assist and with our Healthcare system or lack thereof it's difficult for us.

HI, have you found a medical aid yet? I am struggling to find anything affordable!

I was able to get help from the pharmaceutical company for lyrica where it was only $25 a month which I know is very expensive but much cheaper than the actual price and you can do this online and they give you a coupon for your pharmacy and they renew it every year course I can't be on it anymore but that helped me
