It's important to be on the higher dose of Neurontin for it to be helpful for Fibro. This is what I have learned through Drs and others. I take 2 600 mg 3 x a day as well as 2 50 Tramadol 4 x a day. This works very well but not completely. I still get flares and extreme fatigue but it's manageable. I also take Ritalin when I need energy to do something important. I think Marijauna can help too. I was taking the Tramadol three times a day, but tat left me with no help for night time pain. My dr finally conceded and gave me the prescription. Now at least, my pain is treated for 24 hours. This Winter has been very hard on me. Worse than most.
Seeing a therapist once a week has been a Godsend. Usually I need to increase my anti-depressants in the Winter but I haven't had to due to my weekly therapy.
