I get night sweats all the time and then chills. I just can't get the right temperature
I have had this, especially when I'm trying to sleep. I will wear something light to bed and cover in a light blanket or sheet and I wake up soaked in sweat and I don't know why. It's very frustrating because those are usually the nights I have a hard time sleeping. My bedroom is usually cold so it makes no sense to me.
i have a hard time regulating my body temp. If I do get to one extreme or the other (very very cold or hot) I have a very hard time getting back to "normal".
This same thing has been happening to me lately!! I was almost ready to go see my doctor to see if maybe I was peri-menopausal until I read this. I fluxuate throughout the day (hot, cold, hot, cold), so I have a portable fan at the ready. Thank you for making me feel not so alone with this :)
@A MyFibroTeam Member...OMG...you are SOOOOOOO not alone in this one! I totally get the Fibro Hot Flashes! My doctor can't quite pinpoint the cause...either medications, early menopause or just plain fibro. I am also one of the lucky ones that runs fevers..All.The.Time! #FeversSuck...lol! I often find myself with a fan blowing up me while wearing fluffy socks and a blanket for my legs. When I sweat my skin gets super cold...I guess this is your bodies way of cooling you often when it is getting "overheated"...UUUuuummmm it is 31 degress out and all I did was get up to go potty...so why am I overheated and dripping in sweat? Oh well...another great Fibro mystery that may never be solved!!!
Hang in there!
Light and Hugs,
Cyna
