Yes unfortunately fibro can attack any part of the body. I've got a friend her daughter diagnosed with fibro in her lungs. Had another friend who almost went blind started with infection turned out was fibro triggered can also affect stomach bowels bladder. Sometimes I get burning aching pain under sternum. Never sure if it is heart or esophagus sometimes burns n aches down spine small of back under shoulder blades. Sorry didn't mean to scare just things I know n what effects me. Hugs!

Yes I've had the reflux problem off and on over the past 10 years. I go through phases where food just won't go past a certain point in my throat. It's usually the first bite or two. Even happens with liquids and taking pills. I have to wait for it to slowly make its way down. Sometimes I have to stretch my neck up by looking straight up at the ceiling and rub my throat. It hurts but eventually goes down. I find if I eat slower in smaller amounts it helps. Sure is embarrassing in public though.
