Members explored a possible connection between scoliosis and fibromyalgia, with many sharing they have both conditions along with related spinal issues like degenerative disc disease, straight neck curvature, and uneven leg length. Several members offered practical strategies including chiropractic care, shoe inserts to correct leg length differences, special pillows for neck support, physical therapy, and staying as active as possible despite increasing pain and fatigue. A recurring theme was the physical and emotional toll of managing multiple overlapping conditions, with members finding comfort in connecting with others who truly understand their experiences and offering each other encouragement to keep advocating for their health.

I hadn't ever put the two together, but I do have it, not the severe kind. Both my sisters had it and they had many other health problems, and my mom did too.

I have read an article that did associate some degnerative disc diseaase and siatica issues closely related to problems in fibromyalgia patients...It seemed to be something that feel within the top fifty symptoms most common

I have read that patients with fibro usually have a straight neck. It should be curved. I am currently going to a chiropractor to address this problem. My neck was giving me a lot of trouble and the x-rays shows my neck is straight and forward instead of curved back.

A good orthopedic doctor or chiropractor can help with a shoe insert that will even out that difference in leg length. I used it forever. Gel inserts help too. Dr shoals or something similar. Muscle therapy will help your pain. Normally that difference in leg length means you have a scoliosis curvature to your spine. I have had it for many many yrs. Let me know if I can help! πŸ˜‰
