I've read a lot of questions and comments in here that a lot of other fibro worriers have their hair falling out.

I evperience this especially while washing my hair, but while I'm brushing or do anything with my hair?

has anyone tried any vitamins or methods that can help or reduce this ?

Members rallied around the question of hair loss in fibromyalgia, sharing personal experiences with thinning hair and practical remedies that have worked for them. Several members recommended topical treatments like coconut oil scalp massages, olive oil spray, and leave-in conditioners, while others suggested taking biotin supplements or checking for underlying causes such as thyroid issues, iron deficiency, stress, or medication side effects. A recurring theme was the importance of getting proper thyroid testing and considering alternative hair care methods like the no-poo approach, with many emphasizing that persistence and self-advocacy with doctors can help uncover root causes.

I have exactly the same problem...my hairs getting noticeably thinner now. I used to melt some coconut oil and massage that in to my scalp, then leave it sat their for a couple of hours. It seemed to work at first but not so much now....could be worth a try though. (You do lose a bit whilst applying it because of the fact your rubbing your scalp, but I noticed the difference once I'd got out the shower and tried to style it)

Medication could be the cause. Research what you are on and its side effects, any drug interactions. Stress is also a possible culprit.
