Does anyone else have issues with losing lots of hair. My finance calls me cat because I she'd so much. I'm amazed I have hair left. It comes out in small clumps when I take a shower and I've tried all the tricks people have told me. Starting wondering if it could be related to fibro or not? Any advice would be very welcomed.

Members responded to a question about hair loss and fibromyalgia, with many sharing that they experience significant shedding, though the connection to fibro remains uncertain. Several members urged getting thyroid levels checked, particularly for conditions like Hashimoto's, and mentioned that medications, hormonal imbalances, and low protein can all contribute to hair loss, with one member finding success using biotin supplements. A recurring theme was the reassurance that while hair loss can be distressing and cyclical, it typically does grow back over time.

Sorry, lol. My daughter uses the same cat analogy. When she jumps in the shower immediately after me, she says "it's like stepping on a fuzzy cat". Not sure if fibromyalgia related.

I've always been told that being on lots of meds make you lose lots of hair. I know I do. I also have fibro, arthritis, depression, etc. I am curious bout alopecia & auto immune disorder. I just don't like having a label like "fibromyalgia" when they're just guessing cause they don't know what's wrong. Sorry didn't mean to vent. ๐Ÿ˜ž
