I have had acupuncture for a few years...it works great for me because it relaxes me a lot...I have pretty bad anxiety, fatigue, and pain. It is not covered by insurance and it is expensive, but it is worth it. I go to a Chinese doctor who specializes in Chinese herbs and acupuncture...she's amazing, but again, very expensive...

I tried acupuncture after the 2nd treatment I hurt so bad had to sit in my c ar for 30 minutes before I could drive home. Dr who done it said that should not happen and would not do it anymore.

I tried acupuncture every week for a few months, by a trained MD. It wasn't bad. I had a very open mind about it and was receptive to the idea that it would work. Sad to say, it didn't. I've also gone to a chiropractor 2-3x/week for many months, and that didn't help, either. Sigh.... Frustrating.

I had acupuncture about 40 years ago because of pain in my knees (I was born with deformed knees and back). It took my pain away then.

I imagine that acupuncture, or even acupressure could reduce the amount of pain you feel.
