I recently had loads of bloods done. All wonderful. Nothing wrong with me..... I then had my blood pressure taken. My Dr.s face was a bit alarming as she told me I needed to be on blood pressure tablets yesterday as it was dangerously high. So for about 5 days I have been on the tablets. I have had wonderful sleep. First 2 days were a bit of an adjustment, but I am fine now. More energy. No brain fog and sleep! I do take a whole barrage of supplements as well. Magnesium seems to be my saviour.
My blood pressure often would read super high. It turns out the cuff was way too tight. My Doctor sent me to a cardiologist because it was so high. He took it and it was fine. In the meantime I am on blood pressure medication from my Doctor.
The cardiologist told me that here are many sizes of cuffs and they should be changed from various patients as we are not all the same sizes physically. Too tight will give very high readings.
Why can't our GPs figure this out? I am so tired of being shuffled around.
Stress is part of fibro - and dealing with it. I'm lucky. My husband is a good guy. He understands that there are some days I just can't do anything. I have to be careful asking him to do much heavy work as he has had two heart attacks which adds to my stress! And, everything a friend passes away, my stress levels rise too. Blood pressure is usually OK - occasionally I have a day when it's up. I did have to distance myself from my three siblings because they were TOXIC. Having said all the above, realize that even if you left your husband and moved somewhere else you will always have stress. Perhaps persuade your husband to sit down with you and someone who understands your situation and have a good talk. Sometimes that is all that is needed - complete understanding.
Mine was high so I was put on tablets. I noticed that I wasn't getting so stressed during the day now
I have honey but due to high pain levels glad yors are helpin u tho xx
Magnesium is also my savior. I have "Natural Calm" around 3:00 p.m. (powder in hot water). At night I take one Jamieson "Magnesium Night" which contains magnesium and melatonin. My stress levels do subside after taking magnesium.
