Has anyone ever used cannibis based medicine to treat their symptoms of fibro? I have found myself using it and it is such a relief. Its illegal in the uk but it shouldnt be. I get so upset and angry when i think that this plant does so much good, not just for fibro but countless illnesses, and we are denied it as medicine, its evil. Anyone on the same page?

Members shared varied experiences using cannabis-based medicine for fibromyalgia symptoms, with many reporting significant relief from pain, muscle spasms, and sleep problems, particularly with high-CBD products or Indica strains, though some found it made them sick or caused memory issues. Several members offered practical guidance including understanding the difference between CBD (legal in many places, non-psychoactive) and THC products, choosing Indica strains over Sativa to avoid anxiety, and exploring legal options like Marinol or medical marijuana cards where available. A recurring theme was frustration over restricted access to a treatment many found helpful, with members across different regions sharing both the benefits they experienced and the challenges of navigating varying legality and finding the right dosage and form that worked for their individual bodies.

I live in Illinois and it is legal here as medical and recreational. I got a medical marijuana card a yr ago this mo. I tried several Indica type gummies or chocolate. it does help me sleep a little better but I think I was having hang over from it in morn so the dispensary told me to take it sooner so started taking it at 8pm and don't go to bed until about 11. then they said take sativa for day time. go easy. i would take a half to whole chocolate sq at night and then only 1/4 sativa during the day. my problem is my memory. I feel I have trouble focusing. so, right now I have stopped taking it. it didn't help my pain a lot maybe little but everyone is different . I got an e mail telling me that due to Covid I get another yr free. ha! now not sure I will take it again. good luck everyone.

Hello, I was put on marinol 5mg three times a day. I also take lexapro and klonopin, I still feel the pain but my brain isn't focusing in just the pain. I think it helps some.

Yes, I'm on the same page. I want it to be legalized in Iowa. I hear that it does wonders for fear, anxiety, and sleepless nights.
