Magnesium For Restless Legs
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

The radiating pain, twitching and throbbing in my legs keeps me up most nights. I read an article about how magnesium supplements may help this. I already take a multi vitamin with magnesium. Would an extra supplement, spray or oil be beneficial? Just wondering if anyone else has found relief for RL by taking magnesium.

Start out with Magnesium Citrate
Or Malate is specific for Fibro
Start with 400 mg , go up to 800 in a week and can take up to 1200 a day
Should help a lot on relaxing muscles
It can give u a stomach ache if you are gut sensitive & or diarrhea , so go slowly . Break up your doses throughout the day :)

I couldn't get magnesium to help me. Maybe I didn't take enough long enough but I gave it a try.

Magnesium Malate is specific for FM
Also magnesium in a oil , spray form is excellent
Magnesium salts in a hot bath as well will help with your muscle pain
