Which causes the most weight gain in your opinion, lyrica or gabapentin?

I can't see how a medication that makes us gain so much weight could be helpful. That's why I stopped taking the Lyrica. I would think that all the extra weight would make our pain worse. It's hard to move around when we get so heavy.

I wont take stuff that puts weight on you..if I end up heavier how the hell, is that gona be good for me?? Iam going to struggle more, get depressed more etc..so, I always ask the docs first.&look up side affects of drugs too..iam trying to loose weight not put it on,&iam doing slowly..I believe we have to try&feel good as we can about our selves, cause we suffer enough,, ive had my meds changed recently&iam being monitored at the min,, but so far ok..only take what works well for you!

Lyrica causes the most weight gain. I gained 65 pounds in the first two weeks I was on it. Only to get yelled at by the prescribing doctor. I made the decision to stop taking it.

I have gained a lot of weight and the Lyrica is to blame.
