When my symptoms first started they were mostly in my arms, fatigue, cognitive issues... This was almost two years ago now.

However in the last 3 months my legs and hips have become a huge problem. I am using a cane more days than not.

Has anyone else found such a progression in their symptoms?

Hello!?!?!!!?

Members validated the experience of fibromyalgia symptoms progressing from arms and cognitive issues to severe hip and leg pain requiring mobility aids, with many sharing similar patterns of pain spreading to new body areas over time. Several members strongly recommended seeing a spine doctor or getting an MRI to rule out vertebrae or disc issues that could be compressing nerves and causing leg weakness, with some finding significant relief through cortisone injections, trigger point injections, or chiropractic care. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia pain that can shift between different body parts and the importance of not assuming all symptoms are fibro-related, advocating for thorough medical investigation while also trying different treatments to discover what works best for each individual body.

Comes and goes. I have an awesome chiropractor and she helps a lot. Well done ultrasound therapy helped take the pain out of my foot for a few weeks. I have had it done before and it didn't help but this time it did.
