Members connected over the original question about sprained-feeling ankles and throbbing knees, sharing a wide range of similar symptoms including electric shock sensations, shooting pains, pins and needles, burning joints, morning stiffness, and the feeling of having run a marathon overnight. One member found significant relief through athletic rocker shoes with orthopedic inserts prescribed by an orthopedic surgeon, along with Gabapentin and regular swimming and walking. A recurring theme was the unpredictable, moving nature of fibromyalgia pain and the relief of knowing others experience these strange sensations too.

Red hot pins and needles, shooting sharp pains, achy pain, itchy, burning joints, finger tips feel like they are slashed, toe tips feel like they are burning, muscle contractions, flash headaches. Yup! You need this group, too.

Me too! My ankles ache and I get the urge to stretch and circle them to try to make it go away. Usually doesn't help at all. I also get the throbbing sensation in my knees regularly but I had never connected the two sensations before. I'm going to try to notice if there is a relation for me also. Good luck!
