Every day at work around 3:00 like clockwork I start to feel bad. Could this be medication wearing off or just my fibro clock set to 3:00?

Members shared a range of experiences about daily pain patterns in response to someone noticing their fibromyalgia symptoms consistently worsened around 3:00 PM, with many confirming they also experience predictable flare times throughout the day. Several members described the concept of an energy reserve that depletes as the day progresses, with mornings being the worst for some and afternoons or evenings being the hardest for others, while a few noted that timing seemed tied to medication schedules or simply the cumulative fatigue of daily activities. A recurring theme was the frustration of needing to push through pain and brain fog while managing work and home responsibilities, balanced by practical strategies like strategic napping, timing activities during peak energy windows, and recognizing that both medication timing and natural energy depletion play a role.

The more tired I get the more pain I have. Maybe you are pretty beat down by 3:00. Is your fibro fog worse then too?

My body knows what time it is because I'm on a routine for my meds. I have noticed that af ernoons are the hardest and it seems like my body struggles to make it to my next scheduled med.

@A MyFibroTeam Member - I'm so sorry you feel this way every day. I can totally relate but at least I have some relief. For some reason I am not bad in the morning, it just really really starts around lunch time. Like right now I am at my desk back and legs are really hurting bad. :(

I find over the years off trying to manage Fibro I understand now that wee only have a certain reserve of energy in the tank I've found more that it is not what I can't do that can be the problem but what I do so I use the energy when it at its peak usually between 10am 3pm and 7pm to 10 pm have a hot bath try to relax some read a book maybe a few prayers for my family and others basically try to get some sleep.good nite I wish you all well.
