When my hands are cold, I experience stiffness in my finger joints. They hurt real bad. I have been ruled out for having arthritis. Placing them under warm running water helps the most for me.

Members confirmed experiencing joint pain and stiffness in their fingers when cold, with many describing similar symptoms in their toes and feet as well. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage the discomfort, including keeping a heater nearby during computer work, using hot paraffin wax dips for warmth and relief, and applying massage with gradual pressure to release tension. A recurring theme was that while some members also have arthritis or Raynaud's disease complicating their symptoms, others found relief through heat-based approaches even without an arthritis diagnosis.

It's probably FM. I had that problem with one wrist. I was able to get rid of it with massage, exercise, add a little pressure at a time. I finally felt something release and now it's better.
