Hi Loz, I do understand, this is the reason why I usually remain guarded and reserved about posting anything on sites as there is occasionally those Fibro Albert Eisteins making derisive comments. You are making what is positive steps for yourself, whether it is being in familiar surroundings to your life before which relates to feeling 'alive' again or managing when you are able to meet up with peoples company you enjoy. Give yourself a pat on the back Loz you are not alone suffering out there and I can relate to that feeling between mourning your old life and trying to do your utmost to be as physically and mentally well as you can be in your new changed life. It can be very isolating and lonely even if you are fortunate enough to have one or two people around you who have some understanding. I give my children and partner a score out of ten to communicate how I am feeling if I can not commit to something on a particular day. I find its much healthier for me mentally not to be constantly reminding myself and others close to me of how much i'm falling to bits :) It of course doesn't work for everyone and we all find our own little coping strategies.
I might join you next year, ill bring a duvet & wheelbarrow for the walk home..how's that? xxx

Hi Loz, I admire you taking the opportunity to do what you did, it does take a little bit of courage to step out of the comfort zone. Nobody can tell you what you should never do, I do wish some people would be selective in their words on support sites such as this. (from experience) Anyone living with a daily health battle can feel very susceptible. Fibro is such a complex condition which affects us all in different ways. I have suffered for over 10 years and we can only listen and be guided by our own body and mind. I love a good knees up when I can manage it! Laughter is good medicine xxx

No you should Never drink alcohol. It make the Fibro worster. I use to drink a glass of Red wine but had to STOP. Because I would be in so much pain. All Berocca does is keep you from having a hang over. My friend take it because they drink all the time. It not for me because I am not a drinker.
