Anyone familiar with hyperbaric oxygen treatment? I am very interested to try this treatment but i am also worried its just another thing I will spend to much money on without results. Greatful for answers and opinions!

Recently I asked a specialist about this and she told me that it would not do anything for Fibro. She told me that unless you are involved in a scuba diving incident you are wasting your time and money. Not saying she is correct, just telling you what I was told.

Yes, I have heard about it. They are using it for cancer patients and healing wounds. My youngest sister had to have a few treatments of it just to have some of her teeth remove. The radiation caused an infection in her mouth. They could not pull her teeth unless she had the treatment. It was covered by her insurance. I have never heard about them doing it for fibro.

I have read so many good things about this treatment but it's very expensive. I called the nearest in my area and was told I would need at least 400 sessions!!
