Members connected over experiencing unusual leg and foot cramps associated with fibromyalgia, describing symptoms ranging from painful toe curling and spasms to sensations of legs feeling rock solid, burning, or being stabbed with a hot poker, often accompanied by freezing extremities. Several members shared relief strategies that have helped them manage these symptoms, including medications like tizanidine, Requip, and gabapentin, supplements such as magnesium and potassium, drinking Gatorade before bed, wearing warm socks throughout the day, and having a partner massage out severe cramps. A recurring theme was the validation of not being alone in these frightening and unpredictable symptoms, with many members encouraging each other to explore potential nerve damage with specialists and continue experimenting with different approaches to find relief.

Sometimes, I can't fall asleep because someone is jamming a red hot fire poker right through my ankle bones.
No rhyme or reason. Weird.

I have real bad problems with my feet, ankles, legs and hips. I have cramps constantly, spasms, severe pain and my legs feel like they are going to burst because they are rock solid. My feet are always freezing too, no matter if I put socks on. I also get a freezing nose. My friend on here @A MyFibroTeam Member has suggested for me to go and see about nerve damage in my feet & legs. It's maybe something to think of for yourself. Hope that helped x

Yes, similar to restless leg syndrome, mine also comes hot legs all the way to mid thigh. Don't know if anybody else experienced this similar symptoms.

I've been having that issue too. I get so bad my foot and toes curl, the pain is agony and seems to be brought on without little provocation. Like if I move my foot the wrong way. Nice to know I'm not the only one.
