Members shared the profound challenges of working full-time with fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, with many describing exhausting daily schedules that leave them crying in the car, relying on ice packs and heating pads throughout the day, and spending entire weekends recovering just to start the cycle again. Several members discussed their medication regimens, including Percocet, Lyrica, Cymbalta, morphine, and Vicodin, along with strategies like working from home, reducing hours, pacing themselves in overnight shifts, or ultimately choosing medical retirement when the pain became unmanageable. A recurring theme was the vital role of faith, family support, and sheer determination to push through each day, even as members openly acknowledged the emotional and physical toll of living with invisible chronic pain while trying to maintain employment.

I suffer through the day. I take sulfasalazide and I'm back on Vicodin for the pain. I take multiple antioxidants and drink plenty of coffee and water. Using the kinesiology tape helps some.

Hi I do. My typical day starts at 5:30 am when I leave home and I get back home at 6:00 pm. I have three daughters 18,14, and 11 thank God for my wife she helps a lot she had her full time work as well. When I am busy it helps me not do dwell on the pain. There are days I get home destroy, but for my family I do it all over again with FM & RA. I God is my refuge and my rock!!!!!
