I really overdid it the past couple of days, and now I am couch bound. I don't have time for this! I woke up in major pain today, the worst being my back. I moved the wrong way to, and now have a spasm in my back and can barely move! I need a quick fix to resolve this....anyone have any ideas?
I use a product called BioFreeze. The sooner you get it on the spasm the better. Sometimes it is a matter of one application if you get it early and then it is totally better. Takes longer if you don't get it on right away, but is still helpful. I get it at the drug store or Home Health store.
One day at a time today was terrible just lay down was quiet. I hope it will be better day..Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I feel your frustration. I've tried all the approved Fibro meds and then some and nothing has helped with pain. The only thing I can do is rest as much as possible as to not aggravate things but I like to be active so it is like torture!! I hope thy figure out how to fix us one day!!
do you have a tenze unit, this is a expensive device and yes the angel up above i right about the heat and ice, i just can't do the ice it takes me into levels of pure hell, pain is much worse for me. there is this device that the drug store sells that is battery opperated, please try it, it sends electical impuluse to the the area. also do you have someone that can rub the area for you. not hard but enough they can help you relax the area. I know you probably think i am crazy but do you have a nerve pill. diazapan with stop the spasms and relax you. enought that you can start the light movements. i am so sorry you are going thorugh this i just was at the doctor for the same things. Torodol will help but i am telling a pain med, anti inflammatory and a vallium will stop those spasm, then lay down. rest the area. either flat on your back if you can or on lyour side with a pillow between those knees. I wish i was close to help you. 18 year suffering,
