Members enthusiastically shared their experiences with body pillows for managing pain and improving sleep alignment, with the overwhelming consensus being that they provide significant relief by properly aligning the spine and hips and reducing pressure on shoulders and joints. Several members described practical setups, including placing pillows between the legs, under the knees, or tucked behind the back, with one member crediting a memory foam pillow for an 80 percent reduction in neck and upper body pain. A recurring theme was the challenge of repositioning during the night due to numbness and pain, but many found the comfort and support worth the effort, with some planning to purchase one after hearing the positive feedback.

I also have to change position a lot because of pain, but have mastered moving the pillow with me! X

i lay on my left side, ever since I was pregnant as that's the side that lowers blood pressure. So stayed there - and use a body pillow practically ever day since. Now it's definately useful. Shoulders and hips not align can make a very painful wakeup. The pillow aligns your hips and takes pressure of shoulders. I also put a pillow that's slighly tucked under my back - helps with support and keeps my back from hurting. When I sleep without one - I am not a pleasant (or fast moving) person.

I do. Helps a lot with my shoulder issues and keeps me in better alignment. I also think it is just comforting to have something to hug. :)

I use just a normal pillow between my legs, but my pain it's mostly from my OA. X
