Guys, these narcs will eventually lead you down a bad path with hyperalgesia and as you know, tolerance and dependance happens quickly so when you have a big event like a heart attach or accident they will not be able to use these meds on you. I'm on fentynol patch. Ive tried to stop taking them. I hate the thought of being dependent on them. But when I've tried I can barely walk or use my hands.

Have been using Butrans patches for over a year at a mild dose ,I think they have been helpful ,but the relief they give is starting to wear off for me now.

I know exactly how you feel PennyJ, I'm on fentanyl also. I can not stop if I forget to change my patch, I will be in excruciating pain and more or less confined to the bed.
