Do you ever feel like such a burden that the people in your life would be better off if you weren't around?

It's crazy that one time in my life I felt I could conquer anything. Now I feel like curling up in a ball and hiding.

Hi Vippy,
I understand exactly how you feel. My life has change so much since the fibromyalgia. I was the type of person that did for others not the other way around. I did go to counseling and that did hep me take a look at everything differently. I am not a burden I'm just a different person than I was. I may not beable to do lots of things but that doesn't change who I am inside. I still do what ever I can if someone needs help its just not as much or as often. I'm sure as I get worse I'll have to do less. But I do believe we are all,put on this earth for a reason. Maybe we cant do the physical things anymore but by going on sites like this and sharing our experiences is helping people. Today you are making me feel like I am worth something because I can share part of what I have been through and that helps me by talking. You are not a burden you just need help and we all need that at one time or another, we need it more often. We are all important in this world.

Sometimes, not all the time. I have a major depression disorder so, I'm up and down. My mom needs me and so does my other half, she loves me to the moon and back.
