Are you able to consult a biokineticist? I find compression stockings help and night splints for leg pain. I have also built up walking from barely being able to get out of bed, to 40 mins exercise per day. My pain specialist says you should walk until you are warm. If you sweat or exceed your boddy's VO Max level, you will make problems worse. Its not about how far or fast you walk, a stroll is good enough. I should think that 10 miles is probably making your problems worse. If you cannot resolve the distance you are walking each day, then perhaps a stick would help you. I am weary though that sticks can make your muscles work in a different way which can make the problems worse.
It has really been a very good resource for me.
yes I thing it would or even a can
I use a walking stick.Still getting use to it, it helps alot.
I use a cane, it helps and you use the cane in the hand opposite the knee or hip with most pain. If you are embarrassed using a cane jazz it up with one of the many duct tapes available. My granddaughter did mine in a paisley print, always getting complements on it. You can also buy a colorful cane I have one with roses it's very pretty. And if it makes you feel better using it who cares what anyone thinks?
