Okay I know this sounds weird .. Please bare with me .. I have to ask because this is a new symptom ..
So you know when your leg muscles get stiff and feel as if they are swollen inside and huge on the outside but you know they are not ? Well has anyone had this feeling in your butt cheeks?
I swear the last two days my butt feels as if it has grown two sizes and feels tight and sore .. I have not done any excercise at all . So I assume it is my Fibro .. Anyone else have this ?

Members responded overwhelmingly to the question about tight, swollen-feeling muscles in the buttocks, with many sharing they experience this sensation throughout their bodies, particularly in the glutes, legs, arms, and back, often describing it as feeling like their skin is too tight or their limbs have grown larger despite no visible swelling. Several members attributed the tightness to muscle spasms, inflammation of the piriformis muscle, sciatic nerve involvement, or trigger points near the tailbone, with practical strategies including Epsom salt baths with lavender, heat therapy, TENS units, massage therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, stretching exercises, elevated legs, and increased water intake. A recurring theme was the shared frustration of trying to articulate these bizarre sensations to doctors without sounding irrational, met with deep validation and solidarity from the community who understood exactly what it feels like to have muscles that feel enormous and concrete on the inside while appearing perfectly normal on the outside.

Hey girl, all the flippin time.. I hate that. It's part of the siatic nervous system..so I'm told. We have pressure points down there in our back it punches the nerve causing serious pain and damage in this area our butts and down our legs, mostly our left leg. To the degree of completely taking us off our feet. Very irritating, Very Painful. Warm baths and apply heat, and oddly enough elevate your feet. U'll be surprised. Have a blessed day.

I have in my left butt cheek. I get muscle spasms too. My doc has me on baclofen, muscle relaxant. I also have pain under the left cheek like I have a bad bruise but it feels like it's deeper, may be the ischium. I hope you have luck getting this resolved. I sit on a heating pad on medium heat for about 15 minutes or warm bath.
