HYPERBARIC OXYGEN TANKS FOUND TO TREAT AND CURE FIBROMYALGIA?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

has anyone read the article about ''HYPERBARIC OXYGEN TANKS FOUND TO CURE AND TREAT FIBROMYALGIA : http://thespiritscience.net/2015/11/30/fibromya...

has anyone heard of this and done any research ?

has anyone tried this ? If so did it help with any of your syptoms (or by miracle make your syptoms less all together or vanish, I doubt it but I can hope)

I posted a pic on earlier today that I took from a ad in my local (UK) newspaper looking for people who have fibro and are willing to take part in medical research. Take a look on my updates to have look at it. I've not currently looked into it or at the website given.

I did 60 hours of hyperbaric oxygen 2 months ago. It hurt in the beginning of treatment but I am now 100% pain free and I can think again. I really hope it lasts I would recommend anyone to do at least 60 hours. PS. It is expensive so I had it done in thailand for a 1/5th of the price

Ok I just looked it up it said for private clinic treatment it costs 165-260$ for 90 minute treatment and costs 1800$ in a hospital. It did say medicare recognizes it and reimburses you. I have medicare because of being disabled so I may call medicare tomorrow and see how it really works with them maybe they cover all of it which would be nice. So if medicare covers it I would assume other insurances cover it as well wouldn't you?

I haven't come across the price yet or if insurance will cover it, but I'm going to look into it and I'll let you know what I find out. We will have to compare notes on cost difference between UK and the us

#tamischlette I was reading up on the financial side and apparently the treatment can be anywhere between £50-£300 and you'd require at least 5 sittings. does this match what you were reading ?

in the UK, the treatment could fall under the NHS but may take months for the funding to be approved :/
