Same here. Had my shoes rebuilt years ago but now I can't wear them. I wear wider shoes with a good support. Alegria, Dansko and Sanita are my favs. Alegria even has memory foam in the shoe base. Ugg driving Mocs are wonderful with the sheepskin make it able for me to walk most days.

Yes. Every morning when I get out of bed it feels like all the bones in my feet are broken. I can only wear running shoes or wide shoes now or the pressure from the sides of the shoes kills. Two years ago I was still wearing boots with a heel on them but no more.

I’m currently dealing with a significant increase of pain in both feet. I’m a waitress, and even though I’ve cut back my shifts drastically due to not having the energy, now my feet are killing me. It feels like every bone in my foot is broken, they burn and tingle, and especially my left Achilles’ tendon is so tight I can barely walk down our stairs!! I had to take my night time muscle relaxer at work tonight just to kill the pain, so I ended feeling groggy all shift. My cannabis oil is not even touching this pain. Feels like walking on broken glass!!! Usually I power through my 5 hour shift without sitting at all, and the minute I get home and rest...I cannot get up without my feet feeling swollen on the bottom and extremely tender!! I’ve heard this is very common, but how to manage? I need better shoes, and a good foot massager. Though I cannot get in and out of a tub well, a hot bath does wonders. Even just a foot soak. I honestly don’t know how much longer I can waitress, thank goodness I’m in school for Accounting! And we are buying a house that’s all one level to help me manage better. Sad that many of us are experiencing mobility that we wouldn’t normally see for 30-40 more years!! My heart goes out to everyone dealing with this horrible disease!

Alegrias are about the only shoes incan wear. As much as I want to put on nice soft shoes I know I can't or I will be very sorry. The alegrias keep your feet from bending and that is what I have to have. I also wear Vionics. Very important to put on a pair and wear them all day to keep your feet in the same position. If I change during the day I may be crying with my feet. If you don't have good shoe stores near you you can get any of them at Amazon.

Yes, not daily though. A couple of times I was convinced that my big toe was broken, then the next day the pain was gone. My feet ache every day, so I try to stay off them, and also wear only comfortable, well fitting shoes.
