Just sad there is ONE Doctor who really understand this illness. You really have to educate yourself in order to protect yourself when you see a Doctor. They are all ready to medicate us but never get to the problem. They love to say your depressed my reply is No I'm frustrated there are no answers

Ringing in the ears is a symptom of fibro or may be caused by medications. Ibuprofen is one of them. Aspirin can cause it along with Cymbalta and other prescription meds. Ask your pharmacist about any meds you are taking to see if that may be the cause.

Ever since I got Fibro. Drives me nuts. Some days are louder then others

It seems for me the ringing gets louder when my blood pressure is higher. My head feels pressure and I'm on bp meds.

I have had ringing in my ears for at least 5 years, well before I knew about fibro. I had been taking ibuprofen for back pain and when I went to the audiologist I learned that can make the ringing worse. So I just put up with the ringing. It does seem to have improved with taking Lyrica.
