Needing some help everyone. Looking to get a couple of pillows for when I am stuck in bed and unable to move. Looking for help on body support pillows and chair/bed pillows. Have any of you tried any of these and is it worth me giving them a try. My back is in multiple spasms, just now I am using an Electromagnetic Pulse Loop and a tens machine on full power and I am getting no relief. So wanting to see if using different support pillows will help.
Any help would be must appreciated love Donna… read more

Personally I don't have alot of extra money for things like support pillow's so instead I've got a big couch pillow (from a old love seat) as well as a few small throw type pillows that I re-arrange untill I'm comfortable and don't hurt as bad also use a pillow between my knees ( it really helps to keep me aligned (my spine) and that helps alot, you kinda just have to try things and see what works for you, hope this helps
It's hard for me to find a comfortable pillow or bed for that matter. But I started using magnesium vitamin which has helped with the spasms you may try it also it might help
I use a pregnancy pillow, I find it definitely helps. If I haven' t got it for some reason, I roll the edge of the duvet and use that.
This is a great question and one I hope gets a lot of response that could save some of us from discomfort and just plain pain. I just got a tempurpedic mattress topper for my bed which I have a heating cover on order for.............so far big difference in my sleep and my morning stiffness. We all try so many things out there on the market and sometimes what works for one doesn't for the other. But I would give your body an adequate amount of time to adjust (or not) to whatever you try before you move on to something else. It can certainly get expensive.................but it is so worth it when you find the right combination. Good luck and God Bless! One more thing..............I stopped using a pillow to sleep on..............I know it sounds weird but it seems to lessen the pain in my neck. What I do is take my light weight throw and I kind of work with it every night to get it in the right position, bunched up (not folded) and at the right height comfortable for my neck. Kinda like what my dog does with his blankie. It works for me.............................. :)
I use one of those pillows that look like that back of a chair with short arms but are stuffed really tightly not squishy. I have very little if any back pain when I use that. Hope you find something that helps!
