I have chronic b12 deficiency, meaning I cannot digest it no matter how much I ingest. I also can't take sleeping meds because they keep me awake. Caffeine puts me to sleep, and I'm lactose intolerant. My short term therapist though this was all incredibly strange, and surmised that I may be incapable of digesting other minerals that are affecting my well being. Oh and don't even talk to me about NSAIDS, those make me swell horribly... anyone else dealing with anything like this?

I've had odd reactions to meds all the time. I think fibro puts us a lot of the time in the 1% that react differently than the normal range for any medications.
I too am immune to sleeping meds crazy hey. X
Yes. Sleeping pills don't work, valume makes me jittery etc. I seem to have opposite reactions to certain meds. It's weird but so am I so I never looked into it more. Good luck.
I am struggling with issues right now- I am going to try grain free- Chocolate gives me problems, I've eaten so many tomatoes my stomach is rebelling. It bubbles sometimes I have the b urning it is really aggrivating- then IBS on top of that.
When I was first diagnosed with fibro 5 yrs ago, I was deficient in a lot of vitamins and my digestive tract was eaten up with candidiasis, so they gave me everything through an IV until I was rid of the candidiasis and could digest and absorb nutrients in my gastrointestinal tract.
