I have Fibro and IBS. I have notice I'm getting spasms in my stomach . I assume that it is my intestines. It feels like a baby kicking in there . Sometimes it's hard to bend it causes my stomach spasms to get worse .
Am I on the correct path of thinking and if so any suggestions on how to help them ?
Thanks for your help

Members connected over the unusual sensation of intestinal spasms that feel like a baby kicking, confirming this is a common IBS symptom sometimes called spastic colon. Several members shared helpful strategies, including medications like Buscopan and hyoscyamine for spasm relief, dietary changes such as eliminating gluten and sugar while eating more fresh foods, and using stool softeners to manage episodes. A recurring theme was the deep comfort of finding a community where sharing strange symptoms like visible stomach movements and churning noises is met with understanding rather than judgment.

This is part of IBS. Another term for IBS is Spastic Colon. My Internal Medicine Dr. could feel the spasm by pressing on my lower abdomen. He prescribed an anti spasmodic drug but I never tried them. I've had this problem for nearly 15 years so I'm used to it and didn't want to add another drug to my regime.

This site has helped me not feel so crazy. Where else could you say churning noise and see your tummy move and have someone else say ME TOO......

I get the churning noise as well . I can literally feel my muscles or intestines twisting and twitching . Really feels like a baby kicking . You can see it if you watch my stomach

I take a stool softener. Every 10 days or so I have spasms and end up going 3or more times in a day.
