I've had Fibro for years but recently in the last year or so I've had a consistent sore breast, the same one side (left). It comes for weeks and then disappears, and then comes back with a vengeance for more weeks. I've had a scan and there's no issues/lumps etc. Doctor just said to take painkillers, but just wondered if it could be linked to fibro and if anyone else gets it?

Members connected over the shared experience of persistent breast pain with fibromyalgia, with many describing tenderness, sharp stabbing sensations, and swelling that comes and goes, most commonly affecting the left side. Several members found relief through supportive bras like Genie bras, sports bras worn 24/7, or going braless when possible, while others noted that medical tests consistently came back clear despite the ongoing discomfort. A recurring theme was the reassurance of discovering this pain is a recognized fibro symptom affecting chest muscles and nerves, helping ease fears about more serious conditions and reducing the isolation many felt before connecting with others who understood.

Me too! I love and live in my Genie bras. They're soft but very supportive. I am a DD and I am very comfortable in them even in bed. I wish we could do something about these breast pains but I've tried an ice pack and a heating pad to no avail. I get sharp pains like an icepick and an ache like someone punched me. Always in my right one. My doctor is at a loss as to why I have them, nice to know I'm not alone!

Wow! Mines also my left. Most days it's just sore, others it's sharp stabbing pains!

Yes I have this also in my left breast. I went thru all kinds of testing, nothing wrong..just fibro. It can affect the muscles in your chest.

I do. Same side too. I can't wear a bra most days. Just when I have to be in public, then it comes off as soon as I get home. lol. I have fibrotic breasts, but nothing outside of the normal range.

Don't laugh but I wear a bra 24/7. Not the same bra, I do change everyday. Don't want the girls to go south.
