I happens to me all the time . Sometimes I have to wait until I get my feeling back or my strengthen back. It is not easy to have those feeling especially at night . I drop the dishes when I'm doing dishes or what ever I have in my hands when that happens. But what can we do is our hands we have to use them no matter what. With or with out pain we have to use them and deal with our pain. My body hurts every day every minute but I have to keep going and just deal with it hide my pain and keep going. I don't want to be in bed and depressed all the time. I refuse to give up so I hide my pain and keep going.
I had this really bad until I had carpal tunnel surgery the beginning of the year now they are both fine
I'm pretty sure it's carpal tunnel syndrome. I have ulnar nerve involvement so the last 2 fingers get numb. Depends on which nerve is being irritated will affect different fingers. It's quite painful. Carpal tunnel is another part of fybromyalgia syndrome. I just wore the wrist splints at night and the pain went away. But it comes back right before a flare. If the numbness persists you may need to have you c spine checked for pinched nerve. A nerve conduction study can also indicate where the problem is occurring. Good luck
Carpel tunnel syndrome?
