Members shared widespread experiences of wrist pain that feels like spraining or even breaking, with many describing it as one of the most debilitating parts of their condition. Several members found relief through diagnoses of carpal tunnel syndrome (confirmed via nerve conduction tests) and subsequent surgery, while others were told they had tendonitis, bone weakness, or repetitive strain from computer work, and found temporary relief using wrist splints at night. A recurring theme was the frustration of severe, persistent pain that impacts daily tasks like housework and typing, coupled with uncertainty about whether the cause is fibromyalgia itself, carpal tunnel, arthritis, or a combination of overlapping conditions.

When l have bad days both my wrists feel like there sprained, l've had the carpel tunnel op on my right hand & l should get my left hand done also. I have tingling (pins & needles ) also my hand feels like concrete at times it is a seperate issue to my fibro pain. I hope this has helped as it was the best decision l ever my to have my hand operated on 😌😌😌

@Sprained wrist i yes I have exactly what you have with your wrist and it could be carpal tunnel cause I had surgery on my left wrist for carpal tunnel. Yes you get numbness and tingling too, my hands fall asleep, my right hand is really bad plus I have arthritis in both hands, and swelling in both hands right where my knuckles are I hurt bad when I have to do dishes, laundry or clean house which I refuse to do anymore cause my pain is tremendous. I have a grown daughter and the two boys that are my profile picture living with me so she helps. Go see your doc and get you hand and wrist checked, there is a small machine they have and when they put this thing that is connected to the machine on your wrist and hand and he looks at something on the machine that tells him if you have it. WARNING if he puts that machine on you and you do have carpal tunnel it hurts like heck, I screamed and cried, I shouldn't have told you that but I wanted you too be ready for it and it might not be that bad for you! Ok go back to your doctors and asked to be checked for carpal tunnel he won't do it another doc does it might be a rhumataligist ( spelling )
