I take it 3 times a day. It's a muscle relaxer so it shouldn't cause swelling. Check with your pharmacist and make sure it is ok to be taken with any other medicine you are taking and make sure you let the pharmacist any over the counter mess you are taking too. Also, baclofen takes a week or so to get use to. It just made me more tired than normal so I had quite a bit of sleep that week!

Baclofen just makes my muscle spasms tolerable. I use ice when the swelling gets too bad. 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off.
