I have tinnitus in both ears continuously, worse some times than others and actually feels like it's throughout the entire top of my head. My ENT says I have a small amount of hearing loss in my left ear and boarderline loss in the right, but is not the cause of the tinnitus.
He did say caffeine makes it worse along with something else that I can't remember. As I practically mainline caffeine, it's a problem. I have tried to cut back, but didn't see any improvement so went back to old habits.🐧
@A MyFibroTeam Member I was just wondering this myself today as I experienced yet another sharp "ice pick" in the ear, as I call it. That's literally what it feels like to me, as if someone is jabbing a sharp impliment into my ear and nothing makes it go away. It can bring me to tears at times and always happens without warning.
@A MyFibroTeam Member My ears have been ringing for so long, I find it strange when they aren't ringing.
Not pain but my ears have been ringing for almost 2 months
Yes lots of ear and jaw pain have been given a diagnosis of temporomandibular joint disfunction syndrome for this. Is really painful , if your top jaw does not aline properly with your lower jaw this could be the problem. I had a bite raiser made to relieve pressure on my jaw joint is worse on one side and also get alot of clicking in the jaw. There doesn't seem to be alot they can do for this either.
Yes I do occasionally. Not real bad pain, but it hurts. One of my throat glands swell also. On the same side all the time.
