I take [[treatment:Savella:54c8658d08c92984f[[phone:4000328]] - 50:]] mg in a.m. and 50 mg in p.m . I believe it has helped me with anxiety/depression and the pain. I do not see any reactions but when I was on Cymbalta I did. We all tolerate medication differently so it's best to always talk to your doctor and see what works for you. I hate the try and see with these medications. I did it for many years but for the past 6 months Savella seems to have been the best for me. Along with gabapentin and many many supplements. I have taken it. It worked wonders for me pain wise. However, I noticed I would have darker thoughts about killing myself. I knew that isnt a part of my normal personality. I cant take 100mg because those thoughts scare me. I did sweat more well on it. Now, I usually take 12.5 mg pills twice a day. I go on and off of it. To clear those thoughts. I have used tramadol and sometimes TY with codiene on teally bad days.

I just started taking it in August. It has definitely reduced my pain. It hasn't given me more energy though. I'm still so tired all the time. I'm not sleeping much. I wasn't sleeping much to begin with but its decreased even more since starting savella. I'm also having heart palpitations. The worst side effect is the sweating. It's really bad. I stay hot all the time. I don't know if the benefit I'm having from it is worth all these negative side effects. I'm trying to give it a fair shot, so I'll continue with it and see if the side effects reduce with time.

I recently tried it after several other medications stopped working or didn't work. I had a horrible reaction within 48 hours. Severely ill, like a stomach & intestinal flu. I couldn't eat anything without being sick, and could barely drink fluids. I lost 10lbs in 4 days. This was after taking it only 2 days. My doc was stunned because all other patients taking it feel so much better. My reaction doesn't seem too common, so although I tell others my story, I don't discourage them from trying it if a doctor recommends it.

I read about it. I have not had any issues with it.
