I have never tried it. I am on Gabapentin and Amytriptaline. Along with my a pain meds and suppliments, I am not doing too bad. I wear compression garments as well. The pain is not completely gone and there are days worse than others but I believe I am managing. I have had fibromyalgia for more than 25 years and have been through a lot of trial and error treatments. Best of luck to you.

I take 120mg of Cymbalta once a day (at night). I haven't had any negative side effects...I think it helps my symptoms. I haven't had any of the weight gain or the other negative effects. I think if you have the chance to try it, go for it!

I take 30 mgs of Cymbalta on the am and 60 in the pm. I know it helps my mood and it seems to be helping with the pain.

Yes, I am on Cymbalta and generic Prozac both. Some dizziness with first levels of the drugs. You have to be careful and watch out for Serotonin syndrome. Serotonin syndrome is a predictable consequence of excess serotonin on the Central Nervous System and/or peripheral nervous system. I did develop it, was having trouble with balance and falling a lot. Backed off dosage and symptoms disappeared. Was scary and took me a few days to recognize what was happening. I have had no ill effects from Cymbalta at the present.

Yes. Cymbalta has greatly reduced that weird burning sensation I get all under my skin and has helped take the edge off the pain. I recently ran out and the flare up was unbearable like before I was on it. It also helps with my depression some. I hope you find relief to.
