Everything everyone else said plus certain foods I eat. Like anything with sulfates or sulphates in it. Also red meats. After a couple of hours after ingesting these every joint in my body aches. And hurts to move. I use to take baths with Epson salt but a couple hours later I would hurt all over. Thought it was the hot water. Until I discovered sulfates in the Epson salts. Testing this theory I took a bath without the salt and boom just relaxation!!

Stress, weather changes and hormonal changes seem to be mine. Hormonal changes are the worst. I have a huge flare every month around my period. I am considering the Mirena IUD to combat this.

Stress, hormones, and over-exertion. Unfortunately I have to work full time and the only time I sit down is during my half-hour break. Hard for me to avoid the over-exertion part. As for the hormones, my time of the month has reached a new level. My entire body kills on top of the cramps and usual aches, and the 3rd day of my cycle I get a migraine. It's like clock-work now.

@A MyFibroTeam Member many articles on Fibro mention the things that typically cause flares. I would read them and then have an "aha" moment. Even before I knew I had Fibro, I had noticed for a week per month around my period I was barely functional and woukd avoid making plans. The stress around holidays also completely wore me out for the few years preceding my diagnosis. It got to the point that started dreading holidays and large family get togethers.

I agree with JessM and food additives. I am eating mostly organic foods, grass fed non hormone added meats, organic eggs, etc. I have much better doing this.
