When I wake up in the morning it feels like I have not slept at all. I struggle to do what used to be "normal" chores and find that I am more homebound now because I cannot commit to anything, as I never know how fatigued I am going to be. Sometimes it feels as though I am too tired to breath.
I have CF, and have not worked in over 7years, to say nothing of keeping a social life. Who wants a friend they can't count on. Plus it is very hard when you look fine on the outside but feel like an 80 year old all the time. I am seeing a Fibro Specialist in CA, and am starting a new protocol. I am very hopeful as I have met many who this has worked for. I will keep you posted. One of the things that they have me doing is following a special diet it has done wonders as far as energy. The book with the diet is @Dr. Amand's What Your Dr. May Not Tell You About Fibro Fatigue. The food plan has really helped. There is also more info on this on YouTube enter @Dr. Congdon. Fibromyagia. This is where I found out about the protocol I am going to begin very soon. It is the first hope I have had.
I've had both physical and emotional trauma. As well as a very traumatic birth
I wondering how many of us has had a trama either physical or emotional , some researchers are saying that this is what causes Fibromyalgia, I myself have had both. I am justwondering?
I am so glad I read through all of this. I get so angry at my self thinking I am just being lazy when I am exhausted and can't get the kitchen cleaned or the laundry done. I had a friend who keeps telling me to go gluten free. I never had a problem with gluten before. She has been sick for almost a year now - since a couple of months after she quit eating gluten. I don't say a word but I do wonder.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I take guaifenesin twice a day along with zyrtec and sedated to help with my sinus migraine. i take 1200mg twice a day. i can't say that it alone help with my fatigue and other symptoms but it des help with the migraine. i do have to stop taking it because it dries out my mucous membranes and cause pain and itch.
@A MyFibroTeam Member i have suffered from physical and emotional trauma as well and do think that there is a connection between trauma and chronic pain/CF/Fibro.
