I was on a very high dose and do not recommend anyone with diabetes in a family history to even think about attempting this medication. CHAput out a warning on this medication so I would also check that site also for gabapentin.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I was taking Gabapentin 3 x daily with no set times of when was best although not having an empty tummy is advised, I now take it 4 x daily because I was getting breakthrough pain. 4 times daily at 4 hour intervals works perfectly for me x
@A MyFibroTeam Member I've been on Gabapentin about 7/8 months now, I haven't gained weight since starting. hope this helps x
When i was on the 3x daily i was taking it at 8a, noon and 10p, this worked for my schedule but is best to at least have something in your belly
I have found gralise to be far more effective. This is the long acting version that is only taken one time at dinner. But i have found that gabapentin is very helpful for the most part.
