Has Anyone Experienced Eczema Breakouts Unexpectedly?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had major eczema break out's 4 times in the last 6 months. Has anyone else experienced unexpected break outs on their body. I've never experienced before now. I have to see a dermatologist to determine that "trigger" but I've not done or used anything different at all. It's very uncomfortable. I have to cover my body from head to toe to cover it up.

I had it as a kid, mostly behind my ears if I recall correctly. But I am prone to dry skin, especially in the last year or so (will be 46 in Feb). I do occasionally find exzema-like break outs behind my ear and on my elbows. It's been ok to manage though, least of my many health issues.

I think so. I keep small oval rough patches on my arms and legs.

I get breakouts on my forehead, eyebrows and on my nose where my glasses sit. The rest of the body is just dry skin. I use a warm wet washcloth to my face and use hydrocortisone cream 1% . I try for at least twice a day. During the day I put water on my face and pat dry it. The paper towels at work horrible so I just stay in the bathroom for a few min til most of it air drys. When it starts in my scalp I shampoo with t-gel shampoo and t-gel conditioner. once a week. And I avoid the sun as much as possible.
