Does anyone know why we get so fatigued? I know most of us experience this everyday but I have never heard a reason as to why we get so tired.
I was also told it was the body constantly fighting the pain. My Rheumatologist suggested 1000 mg of B12 in the morning and another in the evening at dinner if I was dragging. So far have been functioning on just the morning pill.
I was told by a specialist that we crave sweets and feel fatigued because we use a tremendous amount of energy processing pain. With the myofascial pain and the gelling of the myofascial, our bodies work at a heightened state.
There are different types of sleep and apparently with fibromyalgia even if we appear to have a good full nights sleep. We may not actually be experiencing the type of sleep that regenerates our energy levels.
Yes i was told it was lack of deep sleep which is part of fibro per my doctor. I sleep and dream but never get to the restful sleep
Similar to Denise...my Dr. Says...your body is sick....its constantly trying to heal itself...it rakes a tremendous amount of energy to do that...this fatigue! Even though it's not known just what causes fibro....wd have alot of other things along with if...these otbwr things...like IBS...is wrong with our bodies...the pain...all else we deal with all takes energy away from us!!! We should be exhausted enough to sleep for a month at a time!!! Really if you factor all we deal with its a wonderful weekend function at all!!!
