I have Hashimoto's which was confirmed when my thyroid had to be removed. I had Coeliac disease first and those two autoimmune conditions are very often connected.

I am the same way. I had to quit work because the brain fog is so bad some days. Do you think the synthroid helps you? I just don't feel any different when I take it. @A MyFibroTeam Member

They have me on thyroxine. Not synthroid but I think it's the same thing.
I know it's keeping me alive. But no I don't feel it helps how I'm feeling @A MyFibroTeam Member

I do too. I first got hashimotos after the birth of my eldest child. It was misdiagnosed as post natal depression and I very nearly died. I has stopped my thyroid working completely.
Since then ( 13yrs) I have progressively become sicker and sicker.
Eventually having to stop work three years ago.
I've read lots about hashimotos not being managed properly by drs who don't understand it.
I'm relieved to read that you agree with there being a link. I was starting to wonder if it was just me.
Thankyou @A MyFibroTeam Member

Yes I do. I really feel the two are linked.
