How Many Doctors Do You Have To Help You Cope With This Fibromyalgia Syndrome
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I have a Rheumy, GI Specialist, Urologist, Eye Specialist, Ent, Gyn, and I'm waiting to hear from a Neurologist and Spine Specialist. All because of this fibro syndrome. We are prescribed a cocktail of medications for a syndrome that is being disregarded as " all in the head" but the numbers of newly diagnosed patients are at an alarming rate. Yet the medications are not controlling our symptom; they still persistent. When will fibro be taken serious or when will the misdiagnosing stopā€¦ read more

I feel your pain! I don't have multiple docs, I have just one. I only have one because I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia due to a work related injury so I can only see the one doctor. My doc is a good doc, so I lucked out there. My doctor and I have tried numerous medications and we came to the two I am on and they seem to work really well. Have you tried Savella? I also take tramadol 2x a day for the pain. Have you tried any of those?

Rheumatologist
Cardiologist
Respiratory Physician
Psychiatrist and
General Practitioner to tie them all together.
Here in Australia we have Medicare. Only the Rheumatologist costs money, so I see him the leastā€¦being unable to work.
@DyanaBlanca- I hope you can find support from medical people you trustā™„ļø

Bayougirl- sometimes physical therapy has been helpful. Pool therapy or hydrotherapy is what I'm doing now and it seems helpful. Others I've talked to say they are both helpful. Hope this helpsšŸ˜Š
