Members shared widely varied dietary triggers and solutions for managing fibromyalgia symptoms, with artificial sweeteners, wheat, corn, sugar, and nightshade vegetables commonly identified as inflammation triggers, while others found relief through the blood type diet, increased intake of fresh fruits and vegetables, or eliminating processed foods. Several members emphasized the importance of vitamin B12 shots and high-dose vitamin D supplements for energy and symptom management, though some noted persistent pain and bruising at injection sites. A recurring theme was that diet responses are highly individual, with one member experiencing a dramatic shift in taste preferences that coincided with symptom improvement, reinforcing the community's consensus that what works for one person may not work for another.

I know that sugar is inflammatory. It's good to stay away from sugar as much as possible. Water is always good for everything . stay away from caffeine to avoid anxiety and heachaches. Your body becomes weaker to these kind of stuff. Celery is suppose to help a lot.

Yes ..I remember last year when I got my shot I thought that the nurse must of given me something else. I could not figure it out now I understand but most of the time I welcome them. I also take a liquid form of B12 it's a sublingual meaning taking the liquid under the tongue 5000mcg when I can't see the doctor. I also take vitamin D in large quantity ask doctor 50,000 IU D2 caps once a week. .... Hope it also helps you. And many thanks remember no drama of any kind...enjoy your Friday with no pain.

I do the blood type diet. Been on it for almost 2 years. It helps with the inflammation and I don't get the body shocks as bad. There is a book called eating 4 your blood type. It helped me a lot. You need to know your blood type but once you do its pretty easy to follow. A lot of the things I wasn't suppose to eat I already didn't like so it was a win win.

I can't use anything that has any kind of artificial sweetener in it. My sister kept telling me I should be able to use stevia but it has the same effect on me... Artificial sweetener causes me to hurt worse and causes severe pain in my joints and I get really bad migraines.
